Yunnan, A place of Beauty and Wonder

Really really fun and beautiful place. Lotsa sights to see lotsa stories to tell.

Let's start with tea.

One of the products Yunnan is famous for is the Pu Er Cha. It's aromatic and sweet, and the pic on the right? is a teapot.

The tea leaves are shaped into round things and stamped on with designs. Quite cool. See the chess pieces on the left? All made from tea. So when they brew tea, they break off abit of the large tea biscuit to boil. Of course, there are decorative pieces which are rock hard and usuable pieces which are much softer.
