The Climb
There's a mountain, can't you see?
Yonder on the top I spy
White as snow and spark of gold
Amidst the six point star it shines.
Adorn my auburn hair it must,
A symbol of the joy I find.
In mirrors and the pools of ice
Deep in my soul, it resides.
"Climb!" it said and climb did I,
Though am I heading down or high?
"Don't worry" it rasps as my hands flail,
"Listen to me and you won't fail."
Hanging onto his every word
Down I plunge
Into to the sky,
Where the sun shines bright
Amidst
It's jagged face
And smiling eye.
Yonder on the top I spy
White as snow and spark of gold
Amidst the six point star it shines.
Adorn my auburn hair it must,
A symbol of the joy I find.
In mirrors and the pools of ice
Deep in my soul, it resides.
"Climb!" it said and climb did I,
Though am I heading down or high?
"Don't worry" it rasps as my hands flail,
"Listen to me and you won't fail."
Hanging onto his every word
Down I plunge
Into to the sky,
Where the sun shines bright
Amidst
It's jagged face
And smiling eye.
